Disturbing Gundam Cosplay
Are you a fan of the Gundam series? Well you better turn your back now.
The gundam cosplay pic below might scare you away from the series forever…
If you have the guts, then go ahead and see the image. You have been warned.
You’ll never look at a Gundam the same way again…
Dragon Quest 2 Cosplay
Dragon Quest 2 was one of my first RPG’s so it still holds some form of nostalgia with me. When I saw this epic cosplay of the DQ2 characters, it reminds me of an era where role-playing games was an exercise on the user’s imagination.
Old 2D sprite-based games usually required you to imagine what the character looks like and what their personalities are. But now, modern RPGs now trend to have realistic graphics with more emphasis on the character’s design and crazy fashion while leaving fun gameplay, plot, and character development behind.
Anyways, enough of the nostalgia, here is the awesome Dragon Quest 2 cosplay:
Akinator: Can You Beat the AI?
So you think you can outsmart a computer AI?
Then try beating the Akinator
Basically, you just guess a character in you head whether it be in the movies, music, even video games and anime. Then answer the genie’s questions as honestly as possible.
Be amazed with his accuracy. Although its not perfect, its very amusing!

Mii Channel Secret: DS Connectivity Option
A new secret option has been revealed for the Wii’s Mii channel: unlocking the DS connectivity option.
Here is how to do it:
- Press and release A
- Press and release B
- Press and release 1
- Hold 2 for a few seconds
- DS Connectivity Option will show up
Right now, its currently useless as even DS download play won’t respond to the Mii Channel’s transmission. We might have to have until the DSi hits. Its almost basically confirmed that Miis will be used for the DS in the future.
CNN: Amazing Use Of Holograms
CNN demonstrates to us on what the near future could possibly look like. Instead of doing a live 2D feed, why not project a hologram instead?
Although this technology has been a fancy of scientists for a long time, the technology still hasn’t been perfected yet. But soon, we will eventually get there.
The big question is: How long will it take before this technology is utilized in TV, video games, or even porn the internet? Will this technology be the disruptive technology in the future? Only time will tell.
UPDATE: This not not technically a hologram, its just 2 feeds meshed together
:Awesome: Pumpkin

NicoNico Douga’s Kirby Obsession
Recently, several videos have been popping up at Nicovideo with one theme in common - Kirby’s Sky High theme.
We’ve already seen the Super Falcon Punch Deluxe, and several other versions soon followed…
This one is quite hilarious:
And this one really took me by surprise:
What’s up with NicoNico’s Obsession with Kirby’s Sky High remixes?
Bioshock: Big Daddy Papercraft
It has been a long time since I’ve posted a papercraft-related article. My interest in them has faded a bit when the boards were being mostly reposts. However, once in a while there is an awesome papercraft that can rekindle that interest.
A user by the name of Chamoo232 has created a 3D papercraft of a Big Daddy from Bioshock. Although the game is over a year old, it still is by all means a good and memorable game.

I’ll update the links to the PDO when it is released. For now, I’ll try my best to make this one (and hopefully make something decent). Enjoy.
How to Make Deals in SimCity Creator
Since FAQs for this game are basically non-existent, and the in-game tutorial doesn’t even give you a proper lesson on how to do this, here is a simple guide on how to create deals in SimCity Creator for the Wii.
WARNING: Neighbor deals do not work in CHEAT difficulty
This is the only downside to using Cheat instead of Basic difficulty or higher.
First of all, to be able to make a deal, you must already have an existing city. You cannot make deals with only one city. This is because deals are basically a two-way transaction. One city must act as a supplier, and the other city must be the consumer. You must also make connections to your neighboring city depending on which deal you want to make. Here is a more detailed guide for the various deals:
Power Deals
To make a power deal, you must have a power connection to a neighboring city. To make a power connection outside, select the power line tool and drag it until it is outside the city grid. The game will prompt you to make a power connection and select YES.
To sell power, you must have a neighbor with a deficiency in power with a neighbor connection and have surplus power in your city. Go to your budget menu, select the Deals tab and set the Power deal to SELL. When the next month starts, the deal will take into effect and money will come pouring into your city.
To buy power, you must have an existing city with surplus power that has an outside power connection. At the same time, your city should also have a neighbor power connection. Then just set your power deals into BUY and a fee will automatically be deducted every month on your budget.
Water Deals
To make a water deals, the supplier and consumer cities must both have a neighboring pipe connection. To do this, select the underground pipe tool and click and drag it until it extends outside the city borders. When the game prompts you to make a neighbor connection, select YES.
To sell water, just make sure that you have enough supplies from your pumps and water towers and set the Water deals on your budget tab to SELL.
To buy water, just set the water deal tab to BUY.
Garbage Deals
To make a garbage deal, the cities involved must both have a neighboring connection in the form of any of the following:
- Neighbor Road Connection
- Neighbor Rail Connection
- Neighbor Highway Connection
- Seaport
Making an outside connection with the roads, rails and highways is similar to that of a neighbor pipeline / power line connection. Just drag the appropriate tool to outside of your city borders.
To import garbage, just set the Garbage deals tab to IMPORT.
To export garbage, just set the Garbage deals tab to EXPORT.
And as usual, the change in your balance sheet will occur on the start of the next month.
Tips, Tricks and (almost) Cheats
Ever wonder why making money is quite hard in this version of Sim City? Well, it because the neighbor deals are basically broken. What happens is that the game only considers the demand / supply on your last save for that city, irregardless of the time period.
So what does this mean? Well basically you can create a large city normally with all of its utilities. When you have capped the population to your liking, PAUSE the game and intentionally sabotage your city by destroying all power, water, and garbage utilities and set the deals for all of them to BUY / EXPORT. From now on, when you create new cities, earning money is as simple as adding a new water pump!
Another advantage of neighbor deals is that it raises the maximum population cap of a city. Instead of wasting space building the utilities (espescially 4×4 Power plants at early game), why not use them for zoning more residential zones?
Hope this helps anyone who are having problems with the game.
Arc Rise Fantasia Official Japanese Trailer
As with other consoles, the Wii experiences a severe drought of Japanese RPG’s. However, imageepoch’s new Wii game Arc Rise Fantasia might just fill that void. Imageepoch is more known for their earlier works on the DS with the Luminous Arc series. Arc Rise Fantasia will continue the lore of the Luminous Arc with its ties to the mystical dragons.
See the video below to watch the trailer for this game.
Not too bad for their first attempt at a Wii game. The bad news is that we will have to wait until 2009 for this game to be released in NA.
As with other Arc games, expect more ecchi moments

Wii Music: My Grandfather’s Clock Cat Rendition
What happens when the song My Grandfather’s clock is rendered with Wii Music’s cat and rapper instruments? No words can possibly explain it….
Its weird and kind of amusing to hear this very weird rendition of the song.
For those who are interested on what the original song sounds like, here is a guitar rendition of the song:

Remember when Nintendo bought in the male and female system back in Pokemon Gold/Silver? It became a big hit instantly. But the thing is male and the female pokemon doesn’t look that much different in the game. Here is the closer look of the female version of them.
