An Angel for a Week- The Sakray Experience

How does it feel if you can get a good grip of immense power that you've never in your wildest dreams thought can be wielded for real? How are you going to enjoy a Cinderella-like experience that’ll never stay forever? I know, I’ve been through it for a week and it was one exciting experience that will be almost impossible to experience in Baldur. This is my adventure in Sakray as, for the first time in five years- Sniper Angel. The purpose of this article is to share my experience in Sakray, as a written output of my experiences there provided with exceptional equipment to test its effectiveness and overall impact to a player.

It took me several weeks to plan for this much awaited immortalization. You see, I have never created a character named under my online handle which is Sniper Angel. I never had a Sniper as well, but I had several hunters before. I want this character to be, if not perfect, to be as purposeful as I’ve expected. And well, I’ve been very satisfied with her performance in the field being provided with equipment that is as good as impossible for me to acquire in my mother server- Baldur.

I missed the last two DEX points but it still worked well for me. I wan’t my gears to be as ready-to-wear as possible. I want a stress-free Sniper life and I don’t want to juggle on equipment so I only desired for a set of equipment that will work good on my standards. The HP is quite low because of the drawback of having the Lord Knight MVP Card, this is slightly neutralized by having the Dark Illusion- Dark Lord Combo which grants +20% additional HP and SP.

Some might ask why I didn’t take advantage of the blessings. Well, there’s contentment and these are the only things that I’d wish I have for my Sniper in both most field settings. But I’m actually surprised with the results; it felt like I’m already playing in a private server because of the intense speed, immense strength and overall capabilities in decimating everything in her path.

The equipment is researched for balance, synchronization and overall enhancing effect. And yes, it is a walking firework once in the field. Once Berserk is activated, you’ll just see the auto-cast spells bestowed by Ifrit’s blessings- the Ring of Flame Lord and Ring of Resonance. Honestly I think it is very imbalanced, but well once someone acquires it from a monster with humongous skills and even more massive hit points it will be very worth it. The beauty of auto-casting is intensified with Meteor Storm salvo granted by the Dark Lord card. SP? Not a hassle, that’s why I’ve compounded a normal monster card on my armor to replenish Sniper Angel’s SP continually while killing monsters in the field thru normal shots.

Our sneaky garment card grants protection from enemies who cannot detect hidden players. With walk-speed increasing skills, the Sniper turns into an indispensable fireworks display ready to hit anyone unwary of her presence. It can be of a perfect defense against attacks literally [because they won’t be able to hit you if you cannot be seen] and once detected, your exceptional walk-speed will make Boots of Travel obsolete.

One of the most important things that I’ve learned in this experience is that, like what Spiderman said “with great power comes great responsibility.” When you are granted with good equipment, keep in mind that no matter how powerful your equipments are, they will be wasted if you will not use them well. Good equipment can be easily pawned by innate player skills.
