Eye of Hellion

Requirements:
Must be base level 60 or higher
10,000z
1 blue gemstone

Look for Chilias Tyus inside Morroc Inn (Lower Inn 199, 64).

Speak to him and he will mention he's looking for an adventurer pure of heart. (Ako yon! Pede ding ikaw! :P)

He tells you about his grandfather and his three friends, and a monster who set loose a mysterious and powerful gem that corrupts whoever possess it. He needs to seal its power.

Chilias cannot provide you exactly where the gem is but he will provide you clues.
He sends you off to Clanux Heffron in Prontera (Prontera 269 326).

Clanux had a hard time figuring out Chilias' clues, but found an old sword and a wheel. Tell him you came to help him and he'll tell you to search around the old Swordsman Association, that's where he found the sword.

The old Swordsman Association is located southeast of Prontera, by inspecting one of the dummies (224, 80), you will find a message that reads:

Veggie Lady N9 W3 BINGO

Go back to Clanux and tell him what you found. He'll give you the Mystery Wheel he found in a Tool Shop and he'll hope you have a better luck in solving the clues.

Next stop, Search for the "Veggie Lady" or Vegetable Lady southwest of Prontera (48, 58), stand right beside her and then by following the clue earlier "N9 W3":step north 9 times and west 3 times.

Automatically, a pop box appears and shout "BINGO".

The Veggie Lady will now provide you the numbers: 3847147298.

Taking the number and the cogwheel, head to the Item Shop (134, 220).

Behind the NPC is an Unknown Machine, click it and insert the cogwheel in place. You'll get the PRONTERA TABLET, signed by a man named Tyus.

Go back to Clanux, but since you don't trust the guy, tell him half of what you had learned. Return to Chilias in Morroc.

Chilias will now confirm that the engraving was made by his grandfather, and Christopher was one of his granpa's friends. Following the next clue, you are lead to find the next piece in "the city of the thickest forest."

Chilias will mention he's sure the next piece is in Payon. He'll also mention a guy named Grout'the Tuccok (Payon 182, 132)

Give Grout'he 10,000 z for the clues, and he'll provide you a Skirt of Virgin, Grape Juice, Green Herb and a Stone Heart. (Remember: This next quest needs a little walking around. Do not use Fly Wings or Teleport).

He'll mark off the first place on your mini map where he found the Skirt of Virgin inside a hut (Payon 102, 191), walk around inside and you'll find a clue on the ceiling: "One size fits all."

Return to Grouthe and he will mark on your mini map the location of the Stone Heart he found. You'll find a Pile of stones (79, 111). And you'll get the clue: "I used to pray for peaceful days here".

Next Grouthe will lead you to some Dried Fish (242, 59) (Weee Daing!! Tsalap.). Clicking on them will give you the clue, "Green Herbs are very useful for getting rid of fish smells"

Return to Grouthe and he'll tell you the location of the Grape Juice. Upon clicking on the Vat near the three ladies, (242, 156)you'll receive the clue: "What will it be? Wine or Grape Juice? Oh, but I much prefer wine."

Ask help from Grouthe to figure out the four clues, and he'll mark a house in the middle of the four spots (ala Da Vinci Code). No need to enter the hut, just click on the wooden floor outside and dig under the dust.

You will discover a Stone Engraving with a message left by Tyus, the clue suggests the next Tablet was left to the care of the "compassionate one". Grouthe will tell you to visit a huge statue located southeast in the Archer Village.

The compassionate one and the statue Grouthe refers to is actually a big Buddha relic.

Standing close to the statue, you will get the chance to speak with an Echoing Voice. It will ask you a question to test if you are worthy of the tablet. Choose wisely and the statue will give you the PAYON TABLET.

Return to Grouthe and he'll thank you for shelling out cash.
Going back to Morroc, Chilias will tell you he managed to find the 3rd piece in Morroc. (Nakaramdam ata na parang ang tamad nya! Hehe...) The clue leads him to believe the last Tablet is in Geffen, and he'll ask you to find Welshyun. He'll also hand the MORROC TABLET to you.

By moving close to the Sage Welshyun located near the upper exit in Geffen, your tablet pieces will glow. Meaning the Sage has the last piece! (Don't rejoice yet, he isn't going to give it to you without anything in exchange.. ) He'll instruct you to find his student Enoz in the Geffen Tower, and get the research paper about"Monster Life in the Geffen Area".

When you find Enoz (he's up in the Geffen Tower in the Wizard Guild), he'll tell you Welshyun already got the research three days ago (Uyy naguulyanin na.. hehe). He's quite disturbed about misplacing a book titled "Master Science Reference Book", so he'll just ask you to return to Welshyun.

Upon returning to Welshyun, he'll admit he was playing a prank on you and Enoz. He will also ask you to return the Master Science Reference Book to Enoz. Afterwards, return to him with 1 Blue Gemstone.

Upon returning he will ask you: What do you call the "abode of departed souls with a shining silver roof that is mentioned in the third part of the ballad of Grimnir"? (WATF ANO DAW??!! Hahaha.)

Answer: Valaskjalf

He'll hand over the GEFFEN TABLET, and asks you to return to Chilias to seal the evil of the Hellion Gem. Chilias will request you to go back to Welshyun since he's the one who has the power to restore the gem. (omg, baket hindi mo pa kasi sinabi kanina!).

Upon returning to Welshyun you'll find out the blue gem is necessary to bring the pieces back together. But since you didn't ask, he didn't do it. (/pikon haha.) You'll now receive COMPLETE TABLET. Continue talking with Welshyun.

Welshyun will notice a map behind the Complete Tablet. He will offer to warp you to that place to solve the mystery, or to return to Chilias.

If you choose to be warped, (Ngaun ko lang napansin, Sage sya pero may Warp skill! Asteeg.) you will be transported to a Geffen field. Upon searching around, you will encounter a Hidden Cave. Placing the Tablet in the machinery will activate a message from Tyus.

You will be warped to Geffenia dungeon Lvl 3. *
I was using my Super novice so the "Hellion Revenant" didn't get a piece of me.. LOL.
Add that to the fact that I didn't even saw him there.

Anyway, returning to Chilias, he will grant you some EXP, and you will receive a Nile Rose[1].

* According to Ro-Guardians, If you beat the Dark Priest/ Hellion Revenant, it will drop the Eye of Hellion**, you also get 1, 200,000 exp, an OBB and a Nile Rose [1].
Whereas if you skip the cave (sorta like I did), you get 1,000,000 exp and a Nile Rose.
Ergo, it's not necessary to fight the Hellion Revenant.

** Not implemented in pRO yet (unconfirmed, I have neither seen one, but it doesn't mean it doesn't exist ayt?)

To all who had tried/ will try this quest, please do confirm the exp bonus. Since my Super novice had a level-up when I returned to Chilias to seal the Hellion's Gem:
from Lvl 62 48% I received exp gain to Lvl 63 91%. No Kidding. It's really worth the running around. /no1
