How To Make Zeny in 5 Seconds (or Less) in Valkyrie Server
I’ve known about this trick since the second day of Philippine Ragnarok Valkyrie server opening. One of the unique strengths of Valkyrie is the items available at the Hypermart. There are commonly dropped items such as Iron, Steel and Coal. You can sell these items for the NPC with their normal ingame prices and the merchant skill Overcharge 10 (OC) works too. I have been hesitating to spread this info to the public because it might cause inflation. But recently I’ve seen people abusing the economy by selling items available at the Hypermart (such as Hydra Card, 2000 Rok) for outrageous zeny prices!
Little did they know, that the value of zeny has already been set even before the server opened.
Zeny is still hard to come by at Valkyrie server if you’re a devout follower of The Way of the Grind barely a week from opening. But there is an easy way: buy items from the Hypermart that can be sold to the NPCs for zeny. The most common mistake people do is buy an Emperium Anvil which costs 2000 Rok points and can be sold for 372,000zeny at full OC. But there is a humble item people easily miss out. That item is Coal.
Costing only a measly 1 Rok point, Coal is ironically has the highest zeny conversion rate in all the items at the Hypermart. Now let’s do some math and compare it to the more popular Emperium Anvil. The emperium anvil, at 2000k Rok gives you 372,000z per piece at full OC. Now if we buy 2000 pieces of Coal at 1 Rok point each totalling 2000k Rok points same as the Emperium Anvil, we can sell it at the NPC for 310z each at full OC. Now 310 multiplied by 2000 gives you 620,000z. That’s almost double the zeny price of the Emperium Anvil.
The reason why I posted this vital information is so that people can see that the value of zeny in Valkyrie is fixed already in PHP. Thus inflation of ingame zeny will most likely unchange its value in the long run, thanks to the coal. So if you see anyone vending a Hydra Card (2k Rok) for 2,000,000zeny, that is WAY, WAY overpriced! Hydra Card is fixed to 620,000z as proven by our Coal conversion.
However, here's an even better way to make use of your zeny. Discovered by Agave from pRO Valkyrie boards, the Lightning Sphere Scrolls are even more lucrative than coal. And I quote Agave:
I accidentally bought Flame spheres thinking they were bullets... little to my knowledge they were for grenade launchers only.One cartridge = 50 Rok points and yields 500 spheres sold at 40 each. Buy 2000 rok points worth and you can sell it at 800k total.
Of course I didn't buy it for the intention of selling for zeny. But given the fact that I made a mistake, selling it to the NPC was my only choice. Furthermore I only bought 10 cartridges so that translated into 200k zeny only.
So there you have it! Have fun!
