RPC 2007 - The Conclusion

At long last, the Agit Lords 2007 have finally drawn to a conclusion. As the war clouds settle, only 4 guilds have stood strong and proud. The Agit Lords for servers Baldur, Tyr and Freya were finally announced. For our home server, Baldur, the guilds of Godsmack™[led by lil badjagg], Sustainer of the Realm™[led by Legokidd], Genesis Rejects[led by Sexy b*tch] and Carnage[led by [K]nuckles] have soared above and beat the odds. Their scores are as follows:
Official Scoring
Godsmack™ (57)
Sustainer of the Realm™ (56)
Carnage (49)
Genesis Rejects (47)
*Note: According to LUG's scoring, Genesis Rejects have received a -5 point penalty during their stint in a destiny agit.*
Winners from the wild card competition have already been decided. The guilds of Hyksos[led by Danilo II], Roughnecks[led by Major_Nick], Loki Alliance[led by -=Arthur=-] and Astronix[led by `oiram] have made it to the top 4 who will battle it out at the server elims. Their scores are as follows:
Wild Card Scores
Hyksos Danilo ll 13406
Roughneçks +Major_Nick+. 10801
††† Loki AIliance ††† =-=Arthur=-= 10168
¤ As†ronix ¤ `oiram`_LO00 8597
*Note: BOZANIAN BEASTFIGHTER currently leads all the wild card candidates and therefore assures them a spot in the Magic 8 and those in the top 2-5 will be moving to the elims*
Godsmack™ was the first group to rest. After reaching a score of 57, they passed on their prized agit to Carnage to try and fight for Carnage's spot in Agit Lords. The pass was successful although so many mistakes have occurred. They were confident enough that they will remain in that spot for everyone was struggling to gather points. Are they confident enough to overcome the pressure and bring home the glory?
Sustainer of the Realm™ rests on the second spot. They never stopped gathering points until the final day. They were the "mastermind" for the Leprion destruction that happened. Along with Team Loki and AnLA they pushed together to destroy the Itlog Faction's prized agit. Their team is strong but are they strong enough to overcome everyone and become the very first Baldur Champs?
Genesis Rejects worked hard until the final siege of the Agit Lords tourney. With an average of two agits per siege, they climbed the ladder to the 3rd spot. Backed up with Team Loki's expectations and pride, they are going head-on with Baldur's finest players. A team who have made friends on their own way. Will they climb RPC's ladder to the top or will they be blocked midway?
Carnage was the last but certainly not the least entry in the Agit Lords. After receiving Leprion agit from Godsmack™, Carnage started to fight hard. They struggled but together with the Itlog Faction, they gathered up and stood up again. Finally, after a few final pushes, Carnage was successfully butted in the Agit Lords tourney. Carnage is the biggest winner. For several months this guild worked hard in defending the Itlogs' prized agit, Leprion. Imagine the boredom they have felt in defending it from May to September. They were greatly rewarded when they were able to sneak past Invictus and ANL to the last spot, said sir Hikaru Mithcristien. They are the Itlog Factions 2nd Agit Lords entry. In this tournament, there will be no friends or allies. Can they surpass the opposing teams and make their way to the Baldur crown?
The Itlogs Faction, Team Loki and AnLA are the factions who have withstood the crisis and walked tall until the very last siege of this year's RPC season. Obviously, Itlogs Faction is the best performing faction in this year's AL. said an anonymous player. Itlogs faction stood tall until the very last siege. New relationships were formed and this would yet again continue and build a stronger relationship just like the friendship Coalescence and Armada had that they have to yet again to help each other in those times of crisis. Team Loki and AnLA are still able and going until the very end although AnL were having a few difficulties when they have 2 GMs who were banned due to exploiting some major bugs. Sad to say but United Chaos faction wasn't able to endure everything and the members of this said faction had to separate ways due to internal conflicts.
The Itlogs Faction are now currently built up of Carnage, Coalescence, Godsmack, Roughnecks *Fatal Instinct and *Eternal Breakers (*Itlog members who are currently inactive). This faction showed great determination and willingness to help and to pursue one's goal. Even after going through major crisis (hack issues) they still went on as planned. They never gave up on Carnage's push to the top (although they almost gave up. ;) ). On their way to the top, longtime friends and allies have lent a helping hand to the Itlogs Faction. Armada and Bozanian Beastfighter have started passing agits to help the Itlogs Faction. During the final siege, more friends have helped. In the final siege, we can see UT, along with its ally Remarque Revenge, redeeming itself by helping the Itlogs faction in giving or helping secure multipliers for Carnage, said sir Hikaru Mitchcristien. The Itlogs deeply sends thanks to Armada, Bozanian Beastfighter, Untouchables and Remarque Revenge for the help they've given.
Team Loki and AnLA were once one before the server merge. A united Loki in my words. A faction that could have overcome the once mighty United Chaos. AnLA parted ways with Team Loki and pushed on with their own Agit Lords bet, Armed n Loaded. Team Loki, compose of Astronix, Moves, Plague, Kingdom of Justice and Genesis Rejects, also had their eyes set for the Agit Lord tournament with Genesis Rejects capturing the spot in the Agit Lords tournament.
AnLA, composed of Armed n Loaded and Loki Alliance were a bit unlucky. They had to face sanctions regarding the Dual EC GM bug and siege without their GMs. They were also butted out of the top 4 Lords. The biggest loser is not Invictus, but ANL. Tarnished reputation of penalized scores due to cheating using 3rd party or bug exploitation will become a monkey's tail to them for years to come, said sir Hikaru Mithcristien. Some said that point deduction wasn't enough, they were requesting, no, they were demanding a disqualification. I know that it would be pretty hard to regain lost reputation but this faction still have Loki Alliance. Loki Alliance is AnLA's bet for WC and could also be the very first Baldur Champs.
The United Chaos faction's members have made a huge impact in this year's season. Some ex-UC members were successful in maintaining their status even with less help and support but some have been literally overwhelmed by the fact that they were left out by their allies. If I may be biased about this, I think my guild--Sustainer of the Realm is the biggest winner for me. I have witnessed first-hand how our GMs planned and executed their strategies, with the latest triumph (that I know of) being the conquer of Leprion, said ma'am CrystaL. Sustainer of the Realm although working solo had successfully secured their spot in this tournament. Carnage is also a big winner who started from zero and ended up in the fourth place. If there's a winner, there will be a loser. As for the losers: Invictus - the guild that was left behind by their allies. I've also heard that the guild will be disbanded as soon as RPC is finally over. ex-UC members namely: Alliance - Mastermind, leader of the said faction. Instead of taking glory agits for them as if they were running for AL, why not helped their UC members who they initially asked to handle that particular role (w/c is AL Bearer). Deathgods - basing it from the previous castle's voice, they were only helping UT because the guild was helping them in return. This guild seems to be ignorant of the role they were suppose to be taking during the Agit Lords. UT - the guild turned out to be nuisance after they went independent in running for RPC WC, said an anonymous player. United Chaos' former members have lost track of what to do after the huge crisis they've gone through. It turned out that United Chaos was just really an ambition. United Chaos is a grand ambition, a noble one at that, to unite those who were once adversaries in memory of the motherland. It is indeed a once in a lifetime opportunity to represent our mother server as a united front, to patch up past differences, to bury the hatchet, and after 3 years of warfare, to stand as one. The concept, the very idea itself deserves admiration; it is a grand scheme worthy of the server we once called home, posted by Shadmeister of Coalescence in A Choice.
This year's RPC season ender was a huge blast. Carnage came from behind, AnL was kicked out of the top 4, Saturday siege was canceled due to some tech problems, controversies left and right. Hell this was supposed to be a game to be enjoyed but because of so many bug exploitation and game unfairness, many have stopped midway. Still there are some who continue to play and find a way to enjoy the game. im just happy playing the game.. its just a personal hobby of mine.. if its not for my friends quit n tlga ako sa larong e2.. well thats life.. naiinis lng ako sa mga taong nakikialam pa sa buhay ng isang tao.. play the game as it is.. dont take it too seriously.. /no1, said sir Mojo. Let's just find ways to have fun and not find ways to gain unfair advantage over everyone else. For some this is just a game, but this game had already been part of your life. Let us all support those who we fought for and pray that they bring home the glory to our mighty server -- BALDUR!!
