The Sign Quest

This is Part of One of the guide for doing the Sign Quest, which rewards you with the Sign Accessory, an equipment that grants 5% atk and 5% matk.* (Worth it? yes, very much.)

If done correctly, you also get access to Geffenia.

It is recommended that you start collecting the following items and go through the guide before starting the quest to prevent delay.

* You get the accessory after completing the SIGN QUEST.
You also get access to Cursed Water, gain some exp amongst other rewards.

** Note that you do not need to bring all of these. Read the guide first before preparing all these stuff.

REMEMBER, THERE ARE TWO NPC'S THAT ARE ONLY AVAILABLE AT CERTAIN TIMES.

5 PM - 10 PM
7 PM - 8 PM

So plan, time your quests accordingly, and make sure you do not waste a minute. :P
If you skipped the time, you need to visit the NPC the following day. (Oh, that 's just the beginning of this painstakingly looooong journey.)

But then again, eyes on the prize.

Read the sign in any of these locations, it will be an invitation from a man named Metz Brayde.

Although you can begin anywhere from these locations, I recommend you start at Prontera (147 305).

Walk to Prontera (263 275). Enter the building and look for the Archaeologist, Metz Brayde (prt_in 227 45). Tell him how you've been following the sign.

Talk to him again and he'll instruct you to go find Arian in Morroc. You're now going to undergo a series of tests to prove that you are worthy of a valuable item he's taking care of.

Once in Morroc, head for one of the buildings in the east (morocc 283 173). You should find Arian (morocc_in 115 154) inside.

Arian is a rude guy, (you have been warned by Metz. :P) so be sure to be prompt and let him know your name. He'll recognize Metz sent you, so he'd request you to bring him some items. (Ready Group 1 items)

REMEMBER TO BRING THE ITEMS HE REQUESTS SET BY SET (100 fluff first, then 50 poision mushroom spore, and so on..)
OR ELSE, IF HE RECOGNIZES YOU ALREADY BROUGHT SOMETHING HE NEEDS BUT HAS NOT REQUESTED YET, HE'LL TAKE IT FROM YOU.

After this, Arian will instruct you to talk to Ganaan (morocc_in 114 162).

You will be asked five questions, and you need to answer them correctly choosing options 1 - 2 - 3 - 5 - 4.

Now go back to Arian. You'll receive your first Crumb of Sobbing Starlight.

Afterwards, he'll instruct you to find Daewoon in Payon.

Head to Payon (130 204), enter the building and search for Daewoon (payon_in03 11 31).

(He's got Miyabi Dolls and Sohees for maids O.O)

Answer his questions appropriately and you'll receive your second Crumb of Sobbing Starlight.

After receiving your third crumb, you will be directed to Al de Baran (223 56) to look for Sir Jore (aldeba_in 155 101).

Sir Jore's working on an experiment, and was startled to see you. Now you need to replace the items he lost and broke (because you startled him in the first place.. :P (Ready Group 2 items).

After helping him out, he'll ask help about his research on the Alchemist Stone or the Stone of Sage. The next task requires you to look for father & daughter alchemists. If you talk to Piru Piru, you'll get a clue they're down south in a forest.

Head to the Prontera Maze. You can enter through Prt_fild01 or Mjolnir_12.

Now you've got to locate Fleur (prt_maze02 57 151) inside. Go near her and you will decide to follow. You'll have the chance to follow Fluer to a place outside the map. Or if you're very lucky, you can teleport directly to the place where they (father & daughter) are.

IF YOU GET TELEPORTED AWAY FROM PRT_MAZE02, YOU NEED TO GO BACK AND FIND FLUER AGAIN.

After meeting them, you'll get to know more about the Stone of Sage. Then, Gordon will automatically teleport you to Mjolnir_12, which is just south Al de Baran. Head north, go back to Jore.

He asks again about the Stone of Sage, and a prompt will appear. Enter Red Gemstone.

He'll hand over his piece to you and instruct you too find Lady Jesqurienne (geffen_in 59 74) in the Geffen Inn (geffen 168 170).

Talk to her and try to make her angry by telling her you don't know her. She will invite you to a question and answer bout. The guy beside her, Aaron will facilitate the match.

In case you lose, talk to Jesqurienne and ask her for another battle.
Answer more correct answers than her, or at least get a draw.
If you defeat her, she'll ask for your name and then she'll turn over her crumb.

She'll disclose to you that the next person you need to find is in a casino. Head over to Comodo Casino (Comodo 140 115), climb to the second floor and look for a Strange Guy, who's actually Dearles (cmd_in02 88 51).

Pay him 30,000 z and he will ask you to bring artsy stuff. He'd accept stuff bought from Gift Merchants, NPC's or Monster dolls. Again, it's not necessary to bring all of these. (He took 1 rocker doll, 1 spore doll, 1 baphomet doll from me.) Make sure to bring rare kinds(those not buyable from NPCs) to satisfy him. (Ready Group 3 items)

Now he'll send you over to Lamadin for the Dance Quest.

For most people, this is the hardest part of the sign quest.
It requires proper timing and agility.

Enter the dance floor through the pub.

(This might've been a bug. Have you ever done this before? Dance together? :lol: )

Each time you step on a correct square, you'll hear a chime.
It may take you a few tries if this is the first time you're doing the Sign quest.

If you do the steps correctly, head over to Lamadin.
You can now exit the room and claim your starlight piece from Dearles.

You'll now be instructed to head over to Alberta and look for Bakerlan.
Head to the Alcesh Estate (Alberta 93 201). Talk to the guard outside and tell him you have business with Bakerlan. Head inside and you'll find Bakerlan in his room.

Talk to him but he's busy so you need to talk to the Peculiar looking Steward, Mahatra.

(Go back downstairs and you'll find the servant.)
Mahatra will ask you to make a delivery and give you a stone with your name carved on it.

(That's my name on the stone! Yay!)

You need to deliver the stone to Leibech (Yuno 330 110).

(Siege. Lol.)

After the delivery, you will be given a receipt.

Bring this back to Mahatra. He'll send a message to Bakerlan that you've completed the test. However, upon returning to Bakerlan, he asks you to do more tasks for him, so he asks you to go to Mahatra once more.

Mahatra will tell you to talk to Seylin.

Talk to the Maid right outside Bakerlan's room. Talk to her once more and she'll ask you to help find a birthday present for her brother. You need to find an alchemist who can make Vigorgra. (Is it just me? Or is it Viagra? O.o)

Head over to the Alchemists' Guild (Alde Baran 68 56).
Go downstairs and in one of the rooms, you can find Melkaba (alde_alche 169 162).

Request him to make Vigorgra for a friend.
You'll need the following items:

10,000 zeny

Melkaba will remind you not to take too much Vigorgra because it may cause a heart attack.
(Vigorgra HAS to be Viagra. :lol: )

Take the Vigorgra back to Seylin, and she'll hand over a letter to you.

Seylin will request you to bring the Vigorgra and the Letter to her brother in the Prontera Castle.

Maurin (prt_castle 107 58) will be happy to hear from his sister. However, he'll also whisper that his sister did not know what the medicine is for. And he doesn't need it since he has a girlfriend.
(See? Definitely Viagra.)

Go back to Seylin and she'll be thankful for your help and give you 3 Panacea in return.

Talk to Mahatra again and he'll tell that you can talk to the master.
Bakerlan will be too busy to assign you another quest. Seeing you have the five other starpieces, he hands over the sixth piece.

Weeeee! :woohoo:

Now, you can return to Metz and present the six Crumbs of Sobbing Starlight.
He'll hand over the seventh piece, and tells you that it is still possible that all these pieces be forged back together. /gg
