This is Part of One of the guide for doing the Sign Quest, which rewards you with the Sign Accessory, an equipment that grants 5% atk and 5% matk.* (Worth it? yes, very much.)

If done correctly, you also get access to Geffenia.

It is recommended that you start collecting the following items and go through the guide before starting the quest to prevent delay.

Required Level: Base 60 or above

To get to Niffleheim, you have to jump the Bungee jump at Umbala or walk past field to head to Niffleheim.
(The Bungee jump is the shortest and quickest way though.. unless you keep on dying :P)

Once in Niffleheim, talk to Arego (Niflheim 224 243).

He'll drain your HP, so be sure to have restorative potions ready or make sure you don't have a mob of monsters following you.

By way of the Kafra Corp., have yourself warped from Morroc > Comodo > Umbala

REQUIREMENTS:
MASK (Smile mask or Goblin Masks will do)
10 Oil Paper
5 Smooth Paper
1 Chinese Ink (Squid Ink)
1 Feather of Birds

Head over to the chieftain's house at Umbala(Umbala 66 250) and talk to Utan Tribe Chief, Karutakan(um_in 39 122). Talk to him, and he'll tell you he knows you have difficulty in understanding the people so he'll offer to help you.

Due to a number of guildmates and friends who've been asking me how to go about this slightly less known job change quest (I'm quite sure a lot of people already memorize how to change into an Assassin... [-( ), I've decided to make this guide.

As an adventurer, you may get to talk to a lot of NPCs while playing. Errende, is a singing bard in Geffen, located near the lower Kafra. The rewards may not be great, but it's a good feeling when you get to help other people (or NPCs for that matter.)

Talk to the bard and ask for his name. Ask him to sing a funny song.
