Why Ragnarok Players Should Blog

You have been playing Ragnarok Online for say five straight years, and you don't plan to let up because so much time and money has been invested. I can relate to this.
However, did you at all notice that while playing the game almost 24 hours a day, you and all your friends are practically living on the net now? This is not a bad thing, I assure you. In fact, it's a good thing! So many opportunities to build relationships (friendships mostly, not just love relationships) are on the net. Ragnarok Online, Friendster and Facebook are just a few of these online social places where people can project an online presence.
Why build a blog?
You've probably seen Waukster (www.waukster.com), GM Tristan (www.gmtristan.com) and Master Diwa's (www.diwa.makiling.ph) blogs; or even my own personal blog (www.evilwoobie.com) for that matter. You have also probably thought that only they who have the resources and the authority to talk about the game can build blogs. Nah-ah.
ANYONE can be a blogger, earn from blogging and even meet other gamers from other countries. You just need
1. A blogging site (www.blogger.com is the most common FREE blog template) and
2. a steady flow of experiences to talk about.
That second thing is never a problem with Ragnarok Players, as living in our servers day by day mean having diverse daily experiences that are worth sharing with the world. How to make money with your blog? A simple explanation:
Other people are looking for things like "what is the spawn time of MVPs" or "emperium anvil" in google or yahoo searches. When they finally reach your blog and they get the info that you offer via the stories that you shared, they need more.
Having related advertisements on your blog will enable people to find more sites like yours and will want to go there too. These ads earn you money, sometimes even a lot of cash, if you write about relevant things like RO market prices, RO economy, Game bugs and even complaints about gaming in general. People can use what you know about your game, and they won't be able to find out unless you write about it in a website.
Visit the sites I mentioned and observe how they blog. You don't even have to be a professional writer to start, you just need the drive to write and the willingness to share. And of course, the readiness to earn money.
You can send me a private message via http://forums.ragnarok-ph.com, my name there is Beldaran_of_Riva. Or you can mail me via evilwoobie(at)gmail(dot)com for help regarding blogging. I will be more than willing to help you start.

Yeah, like you should also
Yeah, like you should also put adsense blogs to earn money - and divert people from the lug ph official site :)
And maybe have misleading urls that might steal user's game login information.
d ako makapag LOG in grrr!
d ako makapag LOG in grrr!
Don't you just love when
Don't you just love when anonymous people post just to dis you. It's a really brave and courages thing to do. Ha ha ha!
Anyway, I did play Ragnarok PH back in it's beta days and I do agree that if you got something to share then blogging about it is a great thing. It's not always about making money or becoming famous. :)
Hala.. Lahat ng mga adik
Hala..
blog nga nila waukeen, gmtristan, master diwa at ito pare pareho lang mga info halos. minsan typo error pa or di updated, so in all honesty aminin natin that it can be misleading at times. dapat ung unique naman na ideas.
